Good Food, Terrible Hygiene I was enjoying my salad and planning to become a regular, but that changed quickly. A family, who appeared to be the owners or acted like they were, walked in and went straight behind the counter to make their own bowls from the customer salad bar. To my disgust, none of them washed their hands, wore gloves, or put on hairnets. They just dug in.
