Whatever older blonde-ish lady with glasses works in the deli needs to learn how to treat a customer. I call and order a pizza as well as a “Large greek salad with no onions or tomato’s” I order at least twice a week from this place the exact same thing every time I order. I go in, the salad has both onion and tomato and the wrong cheese on it. I pointed it out to Bryton, he went over to tell her and she said “What she can’t pick it off?” excuse you? Well I live in Winterport so we frequently go there. It's a hit and miss on the pizza. Either it's good or it's really bad. I think it depends on who's making it lol. But they recently hired a guy who has absolutely no customer service skills. He is rude and makes it very apparent that waiting on you is not something he wants to do. Very long term customer. 10+ years. The smelly, blonde, fat woman is one of the worst employees I’ve seen come through this store, triumphed only when there was a full blown heroin addict working there. Asks very intrusive questions, plays games with customers, and despite being there for months now, does not know her job all that much. Hardly see her working if there’s no customers in the store. We really like the pizza here. This morning I called to see if by chance they had an item I forgot that I need for a recipe. I didn’t want to drive to Hannaford in Hampden. I spoke to a very courteous and professional young man named Zach. He asked a coworker if the item was stocked, and then he took it one step further to check for himself. While the item (which I new was a LONG SHOT) was not in stock, I was struck by and appreciated this very positive experience. It’s just not that common anymore.
