Amazing seafood. Exceptional customer service. Beautiful ambiance with the marina views, wood paneling, and fireplace. Just be prepared to spend a good $75-100 a person just for food. My only knock on the restaurant is a startling lack of diversity in the clientele on a Saturday night. I swear I was the only brunette in the room. There was all of one person of color. Insane prices for tiny portions....$ 17.00 for a glass of wine, $18.00 for a green salad...if you wanted a meat added to dalad
This is absolutely my favorite place to eat in old saybrook. Whether it be breakfast or lunch or dinner I have not been disappointed. I was especially impressed by breakfast here. My waitress Paige was so accommodating and kind. She made all the difference in the experience we had. I wish they had 10 of her. I would highly recommend for atmosphere hospitality and food. Fresh Salt has definitely improved recently. We had the cauliflower and parsnip soup which was so amazing, and a ricotta brûlée which was so unique and special. The cIoppinno for my main course was great (I asked them to make it spicy) and my wife loved her cold lobster role. The chef had really has done a great job keeping some solid classics and bringing in some new creativity.
