The doctor was unprofessional and discourteous. He did not acknowledge my greetings, which made the interaction uncomfortable. The office environment did not appear to be well maintained, and it was also difficult to reach the office by phone, as calls often went unanswered. I felt that the doctor was dismissive and showed a lack of concern for my overall health. Additionally, I perceived behavior that suggested bias, which was troubling. Please be aware that the quality of service may vary depending on ethnicity.

This is an absolute tragedy this man is still in business . How can you schedule a colonoscopy and cancel it twice for the same reason! You said your anesthesiologist did not show up and then you stated that you could do the anesthesiology yourself . What a joke do not ever use this man under any circumstances. This after taking medicines for the past 24 hours to prepare for this operation.

Dr Kelsen is the best gastroenterologist. As a Crohn’s patient, he saved my life at an appointment by quickly recognizing my abdominal pain as life threatening. He sent me to the hospital emergency room, and cancelled his remaining schedule for the day. My intestinal strictures caused blockage; and at the hospital he caught them in time before rupturing and likely causing death. Dr Kelsen is the best doctor in the Bay Area. If you need a dr who answers every question you have with patience of a saint. This should be your doctor. I learn something new every time I have an appointment. I fully recommend him. I’ve been his patient for over ten years!
