The hatchback (door) on my 2011 Ford Escape would not open, which required the door actuator to be replaced. The work was completed one week ago without any problems so far, and to my complete satisfaction.
I took my 2018 ford edge in for a brake replacement 30,000 miles ago and the so called “technician” left the top bracket caliper bolts loose on the drivers side rear tire. One bolt had fallen out completely and the 2nd was on its way out. Funny enough, come to find out the person responsible was fired 6 months ago for… oh you guessed it leaving things loose. I took my Ford Explorer in for maintenance on August 15th. I didn't notice anything at first, but when I got on the freeway, I heard a whistling sound as the gears shifted. When I opened the hood to check the engine, I realized they had installed the filter but hadn't put everything back together properly.
