After repeatedly explaining that the meals being brought to me contained foods I’m allergic or intolerant to, I was still questioned about why I “wouldn’t just eat it.” Maybe because severe stomach pain, bloating and vomiting are exactly the things we’re trying to avoid right now? Also my medical records had consistent errors in them. From simply having me down as vegetarian (I'm not) to having not to give transfusion ( I would) to deliberate lies on my discharge papers . The staff in the Radiology department at the hospital are amazing. Very professional and efficient. More importantly, kind and patient with people who suffer from anxiety. Some people aren't lucky enough to have a family member or friend come along for support, and the kind hospital staff helps with that.
I can’t tell you how bad this hospital was. I was here for about 3 weeks. The nurses were so dismissive and rude. I was not mobile so I was unable to get out of bed and do basic tasks. The nurses made me feel so bad for pressing the button for any help to the point I was scared to press the button. Not only that. There was a lady, obviously with mental health issues, she would sleep all day long and from about 9pm - 6am would blast reggae music on speakers non stop.
