I cannot say enough great things about Freight Train Electric and its owner, Matthew Bassett. I was referred to Matthew after discovering, just one month before closing on the sale of my home, that there was an old, expired electrical permit for my Generac generator. I had originally hired a licensed contractor and believed the work had been completed properly and the permit had been closed. I worked with Matt and Freight Train Electric installing a gas generator, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. He had everything prepped before arriving, communicated clearly throughout the entire job, and his workmanship was top-notch. Mathew Basset from Freight Train Electric did a phenomenal job with a very challenging outdoor security light installation. He was here all day solving problem after problem until everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. He tackled an installation that other electricians would not even bother with, or would charge a ridiculous price because of the difficulty. Matt is the best! He does clean work and has a great attention to detail. He ran a new dedicated circuit for a mini split system that were installing. Everything worked flawlessly and he did a great job cleaning up after he was done.
