We used Freight Mart International for our first international shipment, based on a consultant’s recommendation. To say the experience was disappointing is an understatement. From the outset, there were issues. They were unable to deliver the container to our premises in Floreat due to access constraints (trucks unable to park/reverse). Having my shipment arrive independently was incredibly overwhelming. I had no experience with logistics, and there were so many moving pieces. When I spoke to Mikaela, I was honestly quite emotional, worrying about everything that could go wrong and whether I’d even be able to receive my belongings. Very unprofessional customer service. Staff can clearly see me in the lobby seeking assistance, yet none of the staff made an effort to engage or offer help. I don’t usually take the time to leave negative reviews, but as a customer who felt ignored, I believe it’s important to provide this feedback for management’s awareness.
