I wrote a very detailed review under my adventure account and I notice it does now show. Bottom line is this shop does not take responsibility for their errors and when called on it has a sour attitude. Loved the look of the bike shop that was in downtown State College. Really wish I could give them a better review. Caveat emptor!
Phenomenal LBS. Above and beyond knowledge and service, and great folks on top of that. Been a customer since they opened in 2005. 4 bikes purchased there. New location is sooooo nice with plenty of parking.
I bike everywhere, it's my main mode of transport. So a bike has to be durable, and well-performing besides. When it breaks down, I need it fixed quickly, and well enough to delay the next eventual maintenance visit more than just a couple weeks. It has to last at least a month--sometimes 2--of day to day riding, in all kinds of weather, because I rarely have the time, or funds, to see to it at shorter durations.
