Very poor customer service! The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing at this cooperative. Only work 4 days a week so don’t call on Friday or weekends. The cost for their electricity is twice the amount of Evergy. Wish I had another option for electricity.

To my knowledge, every call we've made to FreeState, except initial account opening a couple of years ago, have been to the McLouth office. Every call has worked out well, quite friendly, helpful, expedient, and productive. I want to give a specific 2 thumbs up and 5 stars to the line clearance crews, office staff, and line clearance coordinating supervisor for a call about trees near the lines. The staff quickly scheduled a visit by the supervisor who arrived to inspect the need. He indicated he could have the crew meet my ... read more
