Freeport Health Club has been around since 1984, first known as Island Fitness and Tan Spa. It had a very limited selection of equipment to go along with being one the first in the area with tanning beds. It was bought out in 1988 and was re-named FHC to go along with new equipment and new management. Then in 2000, it went to an all female format.
