This is the only bakery that I know of that uses fresh ingredients to make everything homemade--from scratch! Wouldn't your kitchen be messy if you did that, too??? The quality of goods from this bakery is TOP NOTCH. I am not sure if the person that wrote this review has any knowledge of what a classic bakery does. I have been a long-time customer of Freeman's and will always be! No gimmicks, no fads--just great baked goods, all exactly how they're supposed to be made!
Great place. Everything is delicious!
Melt in your mouth I live in Charlotte,NC, but when I have a special occasion, I always make sure I get a cake from Freeman's. The cakes are so moist, and the icing is not to heavy. I also tried their caramel cake, that's also to die for. Try it, it will definitely melt in your mouth.
