Great doctor
I was very lucky to have Dr. Kurtis Cox as my surgeon. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and Dr. Cox preformed a hand assisted laparoscopic surgery to remove approximately 13" of my ascending colon. He also put in my clavicle port for chemotherapy. For each procedure he informed me what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He assured me I would be fine and was very thorough. Recently had a Laparoscopic Hernia surgery to repair a previous hernia surgery from well over 10 years ago. Dr. Cox did a great job explaining how this surgery was different from the previous one and what would be entailed. The day of surgery I was admitted and prepped and ready just as scheduled. Dr. Cox made sure that my people with me knew exactly how the surgery went and what I could expect during recovery. Went for the follow-up today and everything looked good.
