I was very lucky to have Dr. Kurtis Cox as my surgeon. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and Dr. Cox preformed a hand assisted laparoscopic surgery to remove approximately 13" of my ascending colon. He also put in my clavicle port for chemotherapy. For each procedure he informed me what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He assured me I would be fine and was very thorough.
