I purchased a 2022 Genesis from Norm R***** Genesis in Irving on December 19, 2024. The sales process was not good. I felt so pressured to buy an extended warranty that I threatened to leave in order for them to take the no thank you I had said 30 minutes earlier. Now for the service after the sale. The day after the sale the service due light came on. December 20th I had to drive 30 miles for them to look at the car and determine why the light would come on the day after the purchase. This past Saturday, my husband and I took our 2023 Genesis **** to the dealership for scheduled maintenance. Our appointment was for 12:20pm but arrived a little early. A few employees of the ****************** were visible with no acknowledgement of our presence. I was sold a LEMON ! 1. I purchased a used Infiniti QX60 from Freeman Hyundai, after driving it for three months thick white smoke started coming out the exhaust pipe. When I took it to be looked at there was slugging from the oil never being changed, even though there was an oil change sticker from freeman Hyundai said they changed it. 2. Our Finance Director, Brian B***** met with Mr. ***** on 3/10/22. Part of the refund we mailed on 2/22 in the amount of $401.27 wasn't received so we stopped payment and reissued the ck. The other portion was not handled due to our Warranty Clerk being out of town for 2 weeks for a medical issue. Mr. ***** picked up two checks from us last night in the amount of $1,167.52 and $401.27. He told Brian last night that he ended up finding our previous check but we had already stopped payment. LEASED a 2019 Genesis G70; long story short, Genesis Finance bills me the Property Tax because there is miscommunication between the County Tax assessor office and Genesis Finance in California. I've tried resolving this with numerous calls to their customer service center, calls with supervisors, and thru Genesis of Irving. NO HELP/ASSISTANCE whatsoever. Love the car, but once my lease is up, I'm turning in the keys and will recommend everyone avoid Genesis at all costs. No sense of customer service or effective communicati... read more

Our sincere apologies that this has not been handled yet. As the selling dealer we have done everything we possibly can do. Hyundai/Genesis Finance are the ones that have to file the correct paper work with the county and adjust his account so it's not showing past due. It is our understanding this is now being taken care of but we will follow up to make sure.
I leased the G70 and I love the car its fantastic. But the service you get from genesis finance is embarrising to say to least of a car company. This has been the absolute worst experience dealing with ANY company I have done business with. My wife an I moved to a new state and I asked the dealer ship to please disclose all taxes and fees to me before I entered in the lease I was assured of everything was black and white WRONG. there is a personal property tax on leases (My former State never had one) which also doesn't make... read more
