Cancer went undiagnosed with Freeman. Then they tried to overcharge me for the testing. Then held my money ****** after the overpay. Told me their protocol requires you to request refunds. Without request, they don't issue refunds. On top of that, received additional unexpected 3rd party billing that I had solidified was covered prior to procedure. I went to Freeman Hospital with after being referred from Freeman urgent Care. While I was in urgent Care they did a urinalysis and a EKG even though it was my right side of my stomach that was in pain. After arriving at Freeman Hospital they told me they could not be you the urgent Care test results and redid the urinalysis and a blood test and didn't chest x-ray. They do not even deserve 1 star! Freeman is a joke! They offer financial assistance yeah right! When you submit everything they request numerous times, they will claim they never received it. Then they turn you over to their attorney. You always end up losing in court no matter what! They can lie and always get away with it. Where is the justice in this country! That hospital needs a class in morals and treating people fair. They DO NOT care about people, only MONEY and suiing people.
Freeman is ONLY for profit despite their advertising The business office doesn't bother to answer the phone when those of us that work have a chance to call. Then they turn you over to collections even if you make your payments. It's all about the money with Freeman. There are some good doctors, nurses , lab folks, but the rest are not. They make it seem like your some freeloader if you can't pay thousands of dollars at one time for their services. ***** ******** treats people better.
Look at your Consent for Treatment form carefully as FHS discriminates with different financial rules for different patients. There are some ugly surprises in the end when Trump General Hospital turns you over to collections, even if you pay monthly. FHS is keeping it classy during America's worst economic downturn and pandemic.
Mary Vogel is a wonderful SLP. She's helping my son and I really appreciate it. I know it's her job, but she goes above and beyond. She has a wonderful heart and really cares about helping children learn to talk. Her office is always clean and safe.
