They billed me $216 for propane ordered by the previous homeowners before I purchased my property. This raises serious concerns about their business practices. This is without doubt one not the most unscrupulous businesses in the area. I've had more problems with them than I can account for, to include overcharging and becoming belligerent when confronted. Today I was in a pinch and needed a few portable propane tanks filled. They did it again. Their policy is to overcharge you for a propane tank fill. Not kidding. They let our tank run out of gas after I called days ago and told them it was low. Having to stay in a hotel because we have no heat or hot water. The rep Beth was very rude when I called again this am saying there is nothing they can do and she doesn’t drive a truck. A little compassion would go a long way with these people especially since I called days ago about being low and they were aware and not to mention I am also dealing with the flu. Absolutely the WORST customer service and bogus charges. BEWARE! USE ANOTHER GAS COMPANY! 18 years ago, I had them put a propane tank at my house for gas logs. Every year, I paid a rental fee of over 100.00. I moved in July and called them to pick up tank because I moved. I had gas in the tank when they picked up. They charged 250.00 to pick the tank up. Update: 7 months later. Received another invoice from this location. My account was never closed. Spoke to customer service and "closed" the account for the third time today. Would not recommend if you have other options and value your time. I have compassion for the service techs, customer service employees and managers because I do not think they are trying to frustrate the customer intentionally.
