We paid a very large entry fee for Freedom Pointe under the expectation that this is premium facility for our mother. What a disappointment - not only is it not premium care, it is sub-standard! After three trips to the ER in four days, they are STILL not giving her prescribed medication for her infections. And we cannot get a hold of anybody willing to answer our questions let alone take responsibility for administering her meds or oversee even minimal care. 8200 dollars out of pocket a month and the are the most medically negligent facility I have EVER seen. My grandfathers blood sugar was over 500 tonight and they were not going to do any type of medical intervention. My grandma mentioned to me that she was worried because she thought it was high but the staff assured her it was fine. I called the nursing staff who agreed that medical intervention should’ve happened, but it just didn’t. They agreed he needed to go to the hospital and then insisted even if they were to offer he... read more
