Freedom Mortgage by far is the worst company ever! I have been with them since 04/02/2021 & it has been hell ever since. Sadly, my house was destroyed by the flood in May 2021 & because Freedom Mortgage is the company I deal with, their name had to be on the check. This is now 8 months after Hurricane Laura and had 135k damages to a 180k home. I have requested a dozen inspections so I can get more money to fix my home. So far only 2 people have come to inspect, one after the roof was fixed in October and one in February when they were finishing the drywall. Both inspectors said I was only 30% complete. Freedom mortgage is a joke. Do not do any mortgage with them. They underappraised my home to keep me above 80% for pmi. I threatened to go elsewhere, magically they got me under 80%. Today I find out (after 3 months of waiting to close) my new amount is 82%. I have all the emails and am tempted to contact attorney.This whole refinancing processhas been a nightmare because of them.
Literally no one ever answers nor do they clear their voicemail for anyone to leave a message.
