Worst company to deal with. I bought my house May 2018, agreed payments would be 1420. Within a year payment became 1480. I asked for clarification and got nothing. Filed a complaint then was told there was a shortage. Offered Refi which was horrendous too. They called and called, offering me to refi, asking me to even when i was in the process. Then they assigned a supervisor to make sure it got done and not to be getting 100 calls to ask me to refi. So, NOV rolls around, paperwork and Refi complete. Went from 4.0 to 3.5%. ... read more
Terrible company. They lie. Reschedule closings multiple times. Only company that raise a mortgage payment on a refinance.
Freedom Mortgage sucks ass. From harrassing you with frequent phone calls to refinance 'at no cost to you' bullshit to withholding the payoff amount when you want to pay it off and be done with the assholes. They made me wait 3 days thereby incurring 3 more days of interest before they would give me the amount due. I hate them and am happy to be out of their clutches.
