TL;DR, my opinion? Don't use freedom mortgage as your lender. This is my 4th mortgage application in 2 years, and it has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I could go on and on about the redundancy office of redundancy they have going on here. Our first loan officer was impossible to get in touch with. Our loan application has been kicked around to 3 different loan officers, and each time, it was like NONE of the documents we already submitted got carried over, so I've submitted the same documents 3, 4, even 5... read more
If you have to work with Josh Schnepper, RUN do not walk. Working with him and this company has been nothing short of horrible. Not 24hrs before closing we were told the company could not longer finance the loan based on a file they had for over one month. Specifically for Josh: We initially thought he was a scammer because he got the property address and loan amount wrong and did not introduce himself with the same blurb as everyone else (recorded line, last 4 of your SS, etc).
