I wish I could go back in time and stop this installation from ever happening. I was sold on the idea that my APS bill would go down instead, I still pay my full electric bill plus a $200 solar payment every month. My project was a disaster on multiple accounts, but I will primarily focus on the issue for my review that was left unresolved... Freedom came and added new panels and upgraded my micro inverters and main inverter in the process. (All was cash pay/owned equipment). The crew kept my ~3 year old inverters/micro inverters that were replaced. I spent the last 3 months inquiring with Freedom trying to get my equipment back. Great support until something breaks and you really need help. They installed system in May, still have a busted inverter needs replaced and battery backup not working right as of November. Big talk with little follow-up. Update Freedom replied to my review and after all the bs the best they can do is an appointment on January 12, Yikes. This after they missed an appointment on November 9 I took a vacation day to support and 3 emails to all the folks I can reach at Freedom. Worst Solar Company. Failed City Inspections and APS Permission to Operate 10+ times. Ongoing project coming up on 1 year. Signed 11/14/2024 and today is 10/28/2025 no solar production to date. Non-responsive. Solar panels and electrical installed December 2024. Panels have been sitting on our roof inoperable. Ruined our electrical and every time we vacuumed the power trips. Bunch of unprofessionals who don’t know what they are doing. Broken promises, and clearly hires staff who has minimal knowledge to what they do.
