I do not recommend. The counselor I dealt with spoke to me like she was using a telemarketer script. She did not come across as sincere at all. She failed to follow up with her contact information after our first session. She seemed very inexperienced. Additionally, she gave me zero input into how sessions with my child would go. She insisted that any input I gave her (regarding issues my child might be dealing with) be done in front of my child which was only aggravating the situation. My daughter has had to seek counseling after her counselling here. She did not feel heard or understood. I am sure there are some good counselors here and I love their mission which is why we chose to use them during a particularly difficult season for our family. I just wish that the counselor could have seen beyond their own personal experience and been more open to hearing the very real struggles of an honest and sincere teen.
