The boat was clean and ready when we arrived. The dock staff were available, ready, helpful loading and check went smoothly. The trip to Wilmington was great and we passed a large container ship on the way up. Some words of advice for other boaters sharing the river with these Behemoths - be respectful of their size and give them a WIDE berth, cross their wake as far astern as possible when passing in either direction but do not stay close to shore. Boats are always clean and staff at docks is always helpful and very courteous!!!

You can't go wrong by joining. I've owned dozens of boats and Freedom Boat Club is like owning a boat that's always at the ready with none of the hassle and little of the expense. The boats are clean and well maintained. Service is very friendly and attentive. There is a real feeling of comunity on thier dock when you go to take a boat out. They have been very good at getting me on the water with last minute reservations, even on days when all the boats have been reserved. Parking issues are really bad...It might be hard to find parking without trying to park in someone's yard.
