The boat that we had on September 14 was one of the newest ones to the fleet at Pine Island, everything on the boat worked, which included both live well, radio, navigation, and also had a lot more cupholders as well as rod holders. This boat was the 23 foot Boston Whaler. We enjoyed our outing which lasted a half a day and everything function on the boat with a smooth ride and very enjoyable day with the weather. We look forward to our next trip.
We’ve had consistently negative experiences with Craig and Dave at the Pineland Freedom Boat Club. Their demeanor is unfriendly, and they consistently demonstrate a lack of basic customer service skills. Despite our extensive boating experience across various marinas in California, Florida, and locally through our Freedom Boat Club membership, we’ve never encountered such unprofessional behavior. Very please with Freedom Boat Club and the dock staff !!
Pineland Marina / Safety Harbor has an excellent staff, Dave, Steve & Son, Gary, Max etc are all reliable
Read to the end: This marina and the Freedom crew is great. They are super nice. But be careful on the immediate exit and return from the dock , there is a super shallow grass field 20 feet from the dock with no markers. You must make a hard left immediately from the dock to stay in channel. On return stay in the channel further than you'd think.
