Please DO NOT finance through freedom mortgage. They refused to pay the real estate tax and didn't even notify me until I tried to renew the registration for my car and it says that I owe real estate tax! When I contacted them they essentially said "not my problem". So I can't renew the tags on my car until I pay the full amount of real estate tax which they haven't bothered to pay or notify me of for TWO YEARS!
Horrible lender! Do not go with Freedom Mortgage at all if you have the choice. Kept getting told they had a great opportunity for me to refinance my mortgage at a lower rate. So I decided to check this opportunity out. It sounded nice and sweet when I spoke with the first person but after that I kept getting the run around and completely different numbers than anticipated from the original call. I mean they are getting sued...
Scam artists. I switched to Rocket Mortgage and they didn't calculate the escrow refund properly. Took three calls to show them how to count for them to finally refund the proper amount. Bless you if Freedom is your lender.
Won’t help there customers.
