Took my Kaabo GTR in thinking I had a lose wire as the back indicators and brake light worked intermittently. Turns out it was naffed. We weren't able to get the exact part, but the guys were able to replace the damaged area and repair the cabling and get the lights working again. The repair only cost $$$ and everything works great 👍.
Worse tire fix botched job ever + damage I bought a new scooter 4 days old when I had a tire puncture already which is totally my fault of course. That's when I discovered this shop and gave it in to fix it. A day later I picked it up drove a couple meters and heard a metal rubbing sound and a ring in combination. I found that my rear break rotor is now bend ( metal rubbing ) and possible the worst tube replacement ever with a bend in place valve and lose ventil nut that's just flapping up and down the ventil shaft. Purchased a scooter for my son 2 months ago. Unfortunately it developed an E1 Error. Took it back to Freed scooters, turns out the motor had an issue - and 3 working days later they provided a brand new replacement scooter - so my son could get his scooter back before the Xmas break. Stoked! Excellent customer service from Dan and Jen - highly recommended.
The guys at Freed are the absolute best. They do honest, affordable work with fast repairs and great turnaround times. Which is perfect because it quickly gets you back to doing what you love: saving money and having fun scooting around! I really feel like I will be coming back for a tune-up every couple of months so that I can keep doing this mode of transportation as safely and confidently as possible. If you haven’t taken your e-scooter into a shop in a few months.. go here!
I bought the 10x3 road tyres with anti puncture goop for my Kaabo Mantis pro. I chose this tread pattern because I ride both trails and road, the hybrid tyres seemed too knobby for the road. This road tyre has decent size grooves, enough for me to class it as a hybrid. I was worried the width may hinder the swing arms at first but after install I am left with about 5-10mm gap between them. Awesome.
