I used to love Freebirds. This was the first location in my area and I was a huge fan. Now it's the most flavorless attempt at Mexican food I've ever had. The chips are such a weird texture that the only explanation is they're not just corn, but corn mixed with something much cheaper. It's just the general enshittication of everything taken to the extreme at the expense of customers. And don't even get my started on the gnats...
I used to get free birds in Austin and it was great. This location was terrible. The lady to start off with was rude and just seemed like she had a bad attitude. The rice looked old and over cooked, probably left over from lunch or something. The pico looked like a watery mess. The burrito itself was cold if not luke warm ( I got take out but was only a 7 minute drive home)and no where close to as good as what I would get in Austin. Even for ten bucks definitely a rip off.
