Chris at Fred's Sound of Music examined my Dual 1237 turntable last weekend, checked the needle under a microscope and sound checked it's playabilty thru their sound system. It's OK for now, but when I decide to upgrade my turntable, I'll be back. "Thanks!"
Brought in Sony Cassette Deck for repair. Was informed months later (due to COVID closure) that the deck and a logic problem & the parts were unavailable. Picked up the deck. Saw what I thought were the belts that had been replaced, taped to the top. In testing the deck, the problem (deck doors not opening) was gone & was replaced by the deck sound like it was trying to start up.
