We were a group of 16 friends spread across 8 tents, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Waking up to the sound of roosters in the early morning added a charming, rustic touch to our stay. The washrooms and bathrooms were impressively clean and well-maintained. The camp owners were genuinely cooperative and kind; one of the ladies even lent me her hairdryer after my shower, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. Spent a week with my parents and aunt. We stayed in the Sandra bungalow. The cottage was clean, very cozy, wood burning stove, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was great with shower and hot water! The view from the deck looking onto the lake was spectacular! It was a fantastic place to watch the sunrise! The owners were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful place to visit on Manitoulin, fairly close to everything and the owner was so nice!
We spent last Friday at Fred’s Camp and Cottages and had such a great time! The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the water with plenty of space to relax. The campsite was clean and well-kept, and the toilets and showers were excellent very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and it felt like they truly care about keeping the place in great shape. Stayed there 4 nights and loved it! Staff was very friendly. Place was very clean. And the sunrise view was a very good way to start the day (easy access to water). Will definitely visit again and recommend :)
