We spent last Friday at Fred’s Camp and Cottages and had such a great time! The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the water with plenty of space to relax. The campsite was clean and well-kept, and the toilets and showers were excellent very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and it felt like they truly care about keeping the place in great shape. Whether you’re camping in a tent or staying in a cottage, this is a perfect spot to unwind and ... read more
Stayed there 4 nights and loved it! Staff was very friendly. Place was very clean. And the sunrise view was a very good way to start the day (easy access to water). Will definitely visit again and recommend :)
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The camp was cost and cheerful and the facilities were clean and well kept.
Had a fabulous week on Kagawong Lake at this campground! Spacious and quiet, lovely mix of sun and shade on the sites. They roam freely and are most entertaining - the rooster crows about 5:45am daily, but then peace is restored. Adds to the experience! Hostess is friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor sink for dishes! Only drawback... read more
We had a GREAT time at Fred's. Stayed two nights, then added a third. So quiet and lovely there. There are only about 8 tent sites, and they are on a meadow with a few trees, so not loads of privacy. The showers are close and nice. There is lake access I just drop a star because the last night we were there we had some very noisy neighbors. I eventually walked over and asked them to knock it off. They did, eventually. But, it made for a bit of a rough night. I would certainly go back again.
