Freds was recommended to us by our local mechanic due to transmission related diagnostic codes. Upon a diagnostics check they recommended a whole new transmission for close to 6K with new / original parts. We got a second opinion soon after which revealed that the issue was due to leaking transmission fluid due to a loose bolt (our repairer did not tighten during the service). In Apr 2023, my son drove his Jeep from Canberra to Sydney to watch a footy game. Unfortunately the car died, with a Xmas tree of warning lights, and no drive. Jeep Bankstown were no help, saying they couldn't look at it for 3 months. Fred came to the rescue. After eventually diagnosing a faulty Transmission Control Module, Fred replaced it. Undoubtedly Fred has a good repreputation for his work & i dont wanna argue about his skill & professionalism. I just wanna say my car Nissan Pulsar 2015 couldn’t get good service from Fred. I paid 5 grand for his reconditioned transmission with 1 years warrenty. & i am standing at 11 month with an unreliable transmission. i went to him 4 times with the issues , he said he had fixed everything.
