NEVER contact Fred’s appliance for service, terrible company! A lady technician came out to repair our washing machine, told me it was covered under our extended warranty through Lowe’s, went out to her truck and brought parts in and said it would be fixed. Maybe 10 minutes later, she told me that she couldn’t get things apart because of stripped screws (which clearly SHE STRIPPED THEM) considering our washer has never been repaired. Fred's Appliance Academy has given me the knowledge and confidence to successfully repair appliances; I started doing jobs the first week after getting back from this school. It was a lot to learn in 3 weeks especially without having had prior experience in the industry. Tim Gleba, our instructor for the November 2018 class, is excellent at teaching beginners through seasoned technicians/business owners, and made the class fun/exciting to look forward to, everyday. Fred's is an awesome school and I highly recommend anyone who is trying to further their career to attend their academy. I came in with no knowledge and left with basic skills to build on.
The school is definitely worth it if you’re just starting out, or want to learn about things that you didn’t know about!
