Great doctor
Dr. Reeve is pleasant and his work on my leg was fine. Unfortunately I had an emergency surgery at an in-network hospital but he was an out-of-network surgeon. The billing portion of this office has been inadequate in the area of communication and assistance. Dr. Reeve will work with patients and waive fees but only if all is going well with your insurance paying them up front. I was greeted rudely by the receptionist. I waited for 1.15 hours while I filled out paperwork . I delightful PA came in to see me and we talked about my shoulder . She was wonderful and I much appreciated her time. She is sending me shoulder exercises to do . We decided against my going to physical therapy at this time because of Covid19. It would have felt much better if someone had just come in to say that Dr. Reeve would be unable to see me.
Dr. Reeve repaired a tibial plateau fracture in my left leg in 2015. This man is the Macgyver of the Orthopedic Surgical Service. Given a completely shattered tibial plateau and a few rods and some screws, Dr Reeve was able to repair my leg and get me back to walking again. Plus he has the bedside manner of a saint. He genuinely cares about your bones. He is a great surgeon whom I have the utmost respect for. I broke my femur and I have 3 little scars that aren’t even noticeable. Thanks to him I can walk and I’m only 48 with osteoporosis. Needless to say I’m sure I was challenging. Please go see him.
