I reached out to 4 fencing companies in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Only one company responded, which was Fredericksburg Fences. A rep came out the next day to look at the gate I wanted to replace for my board on board fence. He told me it shouldn't cost more than a few hundered dollars. Two days later I received my quote. $750 to replace a simple wooden gate. Talk about gouging the public. Needless to say, I refused that amount and will make due with what I have. Very disappointed. We paid for a fence that was to be installed along our property line but this company installed the fence in the wrong location. To rectify the issue, Jeffrey from FBF told us that he would stain the fence free of charge if we purchased the 5-gallon container of polyurethane. More than two months and multiple calls later, we’ve still not received a response. Scheduled an appointment for 10am, was driving from my office and got a VM that the appointment needed to be moved 15 minutes. Not a problem. 30 minutes later, still nobody has showed up. Called the office and told them I drove home for the appointment and they wanted to know if wanted to reschedule. No way, you’ve already wasted my time once. Judging by the reviews, this is just how they operate. Should have read them before I scheduled. Years later, same stuff.
