Had a latch break and tried to charge $490 . Fence was done little over year ago. 11k and they told us we have the custom hinges lol custom junk! After talking 3 times to them . They agreed to come put it on…this bad review is for even trying to charge us $490. These companies around here are getting to greedy and need to be investigated

I reached out to 4 fencing companies in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Only one company responded, which was Fredericksburg Fences. A rep came out the next day to look at the gate I wanted to replace for my board on board fence. He told me it shouldn't cost more than a few hundered dollars. Two days later I received my quote. $750 to replace a simple wooden gate. Talk about gouging the public. Needless to say, I refused that amount and will make due with what I have. Very disappointed. We paid for a fence that was to be installed along our property line but this company installed the fence in the wrong location. To rectify the issue, Jeffrey from FBF told us that he would stain the fence free of charge if we purchased the 5-gallon container of polyurethane. More than two months and multiple calls later, we’ve still not received a response.
