I had such a great experience at Frederick Primary Care for my annual physical! The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, and Dr. Jenny Sandberg was amazing — she truly listens, cares, and makes you feel comfortable. I also had to get my blood drawn, and the woman who did it was so skilled and kind that it was honestly the easiest, most pleasant blood draw I’ve ever had. Overall, this was the best doctor’s visit I’ve ever had — I highly recommend this office!
Not only does the staff genuinely seem to not care about their patients wellness, they go out of their way to make things difficult for you. If they tell you that they won’t issue a ‘late rescheduling’ fee against you, don’t believe them! They’ll try to charge you and when you tell them you were told you’d have no fee, they basically say “well that sucks but you owe us”. Today was my first time here at the Urbana office, and I am very happy with how friendly everyone was at FPCA. They saw me within 5 minutes of my appointment. Malinda Grimm PA-C was great, she was very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. From my first experience here I would recommend them.
I worked in the lab at this facility and had the opportunity to see everything—from the front desk to the back, and from management to staff. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst office environments I’ve ever experienced. The front desk staff, especially the older woman, were extremely unprofessional. Instead of treating patients with respect, they would judge them, gossip behind their backs, and even mock or roll their eyes when patients asked questions. As with any experience with health care providers, you find good ones, indifferent, or even bad ones, but I am pleased to have found a provider at FPCA who listens, cares, and is helpful whenever I have contact with her.
