The employees in the drive-through are not friendly and do not greet nor thank customers. Every year I pay a huge property tax bill in one lump sum. At the very least I deserve a “Hello” and “Thank you. Have a nice day.”

Whatever these clerks are paid is way too much to do absolutely nothing! They dont acknowledge you when you walk in. Laughing and gossiping until you speak up loudly to say you need assistance. They charge you a 3% fee to make a debit or credit card payment on property taxes. Folks save yourself a trip. These people are useless. Use an online check option for a $1.50 fee. This place is causing Frederick tax payers money for absolutely nothing. It needs to be shut down.

In an era when State and Federal agencies rarely answer their phones or are accessible at all, I give a shout out to Frederick County where they are always available and very efficient at resolving issues.

I've dealt with them a handful of times, because my home loan company failed to pay property taxes on time, and they have been incredibly helpful and patient every time. They made sure I understood the process by full explaining what was going on and what I needed to do to help.
