Dr Smith has been incredibly helpful managing my health. He is very gentle, caring and compassionate. He takes the time to listen, offer advice, and is extremely thorough in his practice. Very grateful I made the decision to trust and partner with him as my PCP. Coming from the “best” healthcare systems in the US, I recognize Dr. Smith as one of the best world-class physicians that I’ve ever met.
He was very rude when I didn’t understand his diagnosis.
My Dad had been a patient of Dr. Smith's for years. When Dad starting having severe cognitive and bladder issues, he became in need of 24/7 skilled nursing care. Dad had not had a physical in 30 days which was needed by SC law in order for him to be admitted to a nursing home (He was out of the 30-day period by about a week). Dr. Smith's office was not helpful at all in getting him an updated physical when Dad was physically unable to walk and unable to be transported by car.
