I don’t often leave reviews, but the service yesterday was excellent! The employees were all very friendly, had a smile on their faces, and went the extra mile serving us. As always, the food was great too!
This was my first time eating Freddie's. I thought it would be like a Shake Shack or Culver's. And without too many changes, they could be. They've made a few unfortunate choices in how they execute. I was excited to see a patty melt on the menu, as that's a good baseline for me to compare with other places. They chose to use a wheat bread with a very strong wheat flavor. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant is relatively clean, and service speed was what you’d expect. The real miss here was the actual food. The burger and patty melt were both pretty dry to the point where my bf and I had to use cup sauces to make it enjoyable. The onion rings lacked flavor but the cheese curds are great. Just not the classic Freddy’s experience I’ve had at other locations.
We tried Freddy’s for the first time today. Around 130pm I put in my order at the drive thru with a very nice gentleman. Right after I placed my order I had to leave the line to pick up my husband down the road. As soon as I picked him up I went straight back to get my order. I was expecting everything to be there since it took me about 10-15 minutes to come back. I was obviously not expecting it to stay hot so that wasn’t an issue. We walked in towards the end of the day, with 50+ minutes before they closed. I didn’t think this was going to be a problem, but maybe it was. When we walked in, there was no greeting of any kind from anyone. Stood at the front counter for a few minutes watching the workers prep food for several minutes.
