I went in to pick up a few steaks after seeing the sign they had ribeyes on sale. When I walked in It smelled like something died inside. The meat what not as good As straubs or schnucks.
Going to Freddie's is like being on the set of a 1950's movie - a flash from the past and it is ALL good. It's at the corner of Big Bend & South Rock Hill, is small enough ya don't need rollerblades to get around. What amazes me is how they carry so much of what we find in the big super markets, just not so many brands - and hey why do we need to get perplexed at Schux with 78 brands of toothpaste, and 29 brands of ice cream etc. Big stores can stress ya out-too many choices.
