I gave this 5 so you could be properly warned, these people have no bedside manors at all, and if you just have insurance your a problem. My friends son just died in there, he fell going to the restroom. No nurse to help him or spot him.The minute he entered this place they waited for him to die. And when my friend tried to convey his and her wishes, the nurse yelled at her like she was holding up progress and ignored her. I did not know doctors and nurses could ignore their patients? Janine with Dr.Harwell is a joke! I’ve been a patient of Dr.Harwell for over 2 years and had a great experience with her at CHI. Now that she moved over to UNMC I attempted today to establish care with her and make an appointment. However, when speaking with Janine she wrote off my concerns and even laughed at me saying she’s “Been an oncology nurse for a long time” and she “Has no idea how that could even be related to what I am experiencing”. I wish I had never heard of the buffet cancer center Do Not Take your loved one there I just was forced to put my 34 year old son in hospice when he didn't want to go even after he fell in his bathroom under there care and broke six ribs and was unable to breathe good on his own he's was on six letters if oxigen they refused to try other treatments that have been known to work on his type of cancer Dr Omar seen him one time out of six weeks he was inpatient I begged them to contact MDAderson in Huston Omar's nurse told me he... read more
I would like to thank Dr. Figgy/Team for the incredible care and encouragement he has given me throughout my cancer journey. My breast surgery went very well, and at every visit he lifted my spirits with laughter and kindness. Even while going through chemotherapy and my first surgery for a double mastectomy, I always left my appointments smiling.
