I understand that healthcare, professionals have to maintain a certain degree of professionalism without being overly emotional. However everyone I encountered had zero empathy! The lack of communication between doctors and nurses left me feeling very uncomfortable and ultimately my husband's last days were filled with pain and uncertainty. I would not recommend this facility for cancer treatment! Also they didn't bother to notify me even when I was listed as my husband's emergency contact!
Your employee Shakeya, should be fired, and looked into for patient abuse. I have never seen someone go out of their way to be so rude. To a woman with cancer even. I will be seeking treatment elsewhere.
After being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at age 41, I came here for a 2nd opinion and never left. My oncologist is Dr. Andrea Newtson and she is amazing. The staff are all very caring, welcoming and understanding. They have a Dale Chihuly art exhibit that had one of the most peaceful and tranquil spots I've ever seen in a hospital. My name is Noah Clutter (I used to go by Christian) UNMC has been beyond phenomenal for my care. Jason foster is amazing and treats his patients with love and kindness. All of the nurses, medical staff, and everyone there are so kind, they never misgender me/deadname me, and they really are one of a kind! Couldn’t have ever asked for better care while going through this surgery and feeding tube journey. Thank you all so incredibly much 🫶🏻
