I am Fred Mix and have never had a bad review in 30 as a yacht broker. In rebuttal to Larry Welch’s comment, the boat he looked at had known issues and was advertised at half price of retail. Larry Welch was informed of the deficiencies by me before he looked at the boat. It was offered at an “as-is / where-is” opportunity. I called Mr Mix about a boat he had listed and made arrangements to look at it. Mr Mix showed the boat and seemed to get irritated that I had a few issues with it. The boat had been neglected and did not show well. After some thought I made an offer way below asking and it was accepted. I then arranged for survey and went to it. On the arrival of the surveyor Mr Mix constantly talked to this guy as if to distract him from his work. As the day progressed Mr Mix wore me down with his loud constant talking.
