I was treated badly by the women in the Fred Meyer Pharmacy. They were rude, dismissive, would not go the extra mile to help me, and passed me off onto others. I will never send my business to a Fred Meyer again. The first time I called, Julie insisted that she couldn't find me in the system, told me I must be wrong, and hung up on me. This review is for Broadway Fred Meyer Pharmacy in Salem Oregon. This pharmacy has deteriorated in the last several months. I realize that it was impacted by covid however it appears that low staffing levels and even poorer staff attitudes are glaringly obvious!! Staff are abrupt , angry defensive , indifferent, snapping at customers. It is not customer fault that the pharmacy is unable to fill there their staffing quota. My doctor sent a prescription to the Fred Meyer pharmacy and two to Express Scripts on a Friday. It is now a week later and my prescription at the Fred Meyer pharmacy is still not ready, although I have already received the ones from Express Scripts. The only reason I had the prescription sent to the Fred Meyer pharmacy was because I needed it right away. I won't make that mistake again.

I have been filling my prescription here for almost 2 years and it has been one horrific encounter after another. They fail to answer my question correctly when I ask if my doctor has called in my prescription to be filled over the weekend. If they say no I can call the doctor during office hours. So I call. Dr is super confused. Saying "I called it in, it's confirmed right here". Ok. Next issue. U call and ask did Dr call it in? They say "yes, I can fill it tomorrow "(referring to Saturday). I am going to switch our prescriptions to Walgreens I have tried and tried to not be upset with Fred Meyers Prescriptions Fred Meyer on Chinden pharmacy. They are terrible. I call in numerous times and they say they can’t find the prescription until they do. The doctor sends a prescription for 4 to 6 months. This is reoccurring not a one time thing. If I could give the no stars I would. They never have my medication completed on time. I have to call and ask if it is done. I was told it would be ready in an hour to get there and be told they don't even have that in stock after having the prescription for 6 days. At no time was I contacted and this isn't the first time this has happen. Complete negligence.
