Today I shopped in Burien Fred Meyer as usual. I saw a guy carried his big lizard hanging in the store. I hope his pet didn’t lick anything in the store, or he touched the products after he petted his lizard. This was not the first time I saw people carried pets in the store. Please, pets outside.
This store is a cluster! Waited 20 mins for a working disabled cart because four of them were out of power. Store in complete disarray. Stuff blocking aisles from handicapped access everywhere. We hadn't shopped there for 6 months or more after a case of getting SPOILED EGGS one week after buying chicken that turned out to be bad, too. I'd hoped to buy a pair of pants and a purse for my mom while out grocery shopping. Should have made two separate stops. Online orders are not guaranteed even if you have a confirmation number. They hold your money, so you think you purchased the product but they advised that will sell it if someone comes into the store even after you get an email saying your order is ready for pick up. They say the system doesn’t know the inventory so your online orders are not guaranteed. Don’t offer online orders if your “system” doesn’t know your inventory. I also like to shop for clothing there. I have 6 children, and their spouses plus 16 grandchildren and Freddies has great sales. But on my last shopping trip with 15 year old grandson there was very little selection for his age group. it was very very disappointing. It was the Burien store. I will probably not go back there again. very disappointing.
