They definitely know what they are doing here, but trust me when it comes to cancer treatment operations you are just a number. My father in-law was treated like a bottom feeder at this place. Was told his cancer is extremely progressive then put the operative procedure out 2 months and then rescheduled it not once but twice. I don't need to tell you how worse it made the situation. The day is brought my very sick daughter to the ER was very busy. She was triaged and then put out in the hallway for several hours. When she was finally seen she was ignored by several Drs and nurses. Four different Drs saw her but did nothing to help nor did they explain what they were doing. She was finally admitted to the oncology ICU. There were a few nurses that were kind and tried to help control her pain. But the others didn't seem to care and one in particular was very rude.. The staff at Fred Hutch radiation oncology from the reception to the medical assistants to the treatment staff to the doctors and nursing staff through their kindness, empathy, good humor and ultimate professionalism smoothed the bumpy road of treatment. My husband and I can never thank them enough. We will be forever grateful.
Had my baby boy here last year and they took very good care of me especially the nurses! I also want to thank everyone including all the hard working doctors, cafeteria people, and the cleaning staff and everyone else.I LOVE ALL THE NURSES THAT TOOK THEIR TIME TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER!! If you’re like me and don’t have insurance,look for some other place. Before my appointment I got an estimate to see a doctor for lungs. It was 600$ in case they will perform tests they told me.I was offered a 20% discount if I payed on the day of appointment. After seeing the doctor (30 min waiting time, 10-15 min max talking to doc.
