My first experience with Fred Hunters was in 2010, when my 7 week old grandson passed away suddenly. I made numerous calls to funeral homes and they were saying $3k to 4k for a cremation. My last call was to Fred Hunter's who was not only thousands less, the compassion and care of my daughter and son-in law was off the chart. 1 Star - Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Made Our Grief Worse I wish I could give zero stars. Our experience with Zachary Brookin at Fred Hunter on Taft Street was absolutely horrible and made losing our mother even more painful than it already was. When we first visited, all of the siblings were present and made it clear we were handling our mother’s arrangements as a family. I was asked by my siblings to negotiate the details.
