My last build the converter worked great, but the transmisson was junk. Transmission (T350) leaked fluid and slipped when manually shifted. Sold the transmission for core price of $150 and found another builder for my extra transmission. Almost ready for my next build.
Mike and his guys at Freak Show are the epitome of what Texas is all about. Fair and friendly country boys who take pride in their work for a fair price. Recently I was driving down I 20 on a road trip and my transmission blew. Fortunately I got Mike on the phone and told him my story and he said get it here we will jump right on it. They have a well equipped shop that rebuilt the whole transmission and replaced the mount and cooler for a price well under his competitors. Took My 97 Chevrolet Pickup to them , was missing reverse 2nd 4th. they turned it around in 2 days , stuck to their price and were a awesome bunch of guys to deal with, I cant recommend them enough.
Freak Show Performance sold me a "rebuilt" 4L60E transmission that doesn't have reverse, 3rd, or 4th gear after installing it. They won't make it right or admit to their wrong doing. They don't stand behind their work. Shady business, would NOT use!
