My husband, Don, and myself own a condo in Fair Oaks Condominium , which is managed by Harbeck Hospitality. I always pay my HOA 15 days before its due date. My problem started when my HOA check for August 2025 did not clear after the due date. I called the office of Harbeck Hospitality to inquire if they received my HOA check. Arguably, based on their behavior in our HOA community, this legal firm seems to exhibit a predatory nature against homeowners, not only to the detriment of the community, but to the benefit of the HOA.
How am I receiving a late fee of $600+ and being sent to collections when my 1st and only notice was last month? Also, the phone representative assured me that I could pay with the payment plan but their heartless email says that a payment plan would cost $300 extra. Someone tell me this isn’t real.
