There was no reason to shoot this 4 legged family member. He didn't understand and ran out to the car. Stop and breath before using guns on anything!!
I'm all for safety, but You need to really reevaluate your staff. Horrible human beings are the only ones to shoot a dog. A dog that's not even threatening at that. Pay for the vet bill, and stop denying that one of your officers is an idiot
As the mother of two four legged babies and a partner of a peace officer, I am utterly disgusted by both an officer who had the audacity to shoot a non-violent dog and the department who has been callious and unwilling to pay the thousand of dollars in vet bills created by the incompetence of an untrained officer. Shame on you all.
Your officers need proper training! To shoot someone's dog for no reason at all is beyond ridiculous and we are outraged. The officer needs to be reprimanded. This is NOT okay.
Real Men & Women don't deliberately shoot helpless animals that have a dog bone in their mouth. The officer needs to be re evaluated & put on un paid leave while the investigation takes place. We would like to see the body cam if they were worn while this took place!
Following in St Clair Shores PD footsteps... Shooting innocent dogs just because you can!... Pathetic!
