I called Dr. Franz with my therapist present to make an appointment to go and seek an alternative to medication treatment which she advertises all throughout her website. The receptionist told me I was not a “good” match for Dr.Franz because of prior substance abuse problems, even though I have been sober for 3 years and clearly stated that I did not want to go on medication.
Dr. Franz is nice enough but she wasn't thorough. Her recommendations didn't help me and finally when my husband joined an appointment, he asked about genetic testing that he learned about from a brochure in her office waiting room. She said we could try it so we did and it showed that the meds she had me on where not a correct ones for my genetics. I've been seeing Dr Franz for many years now for depression/anxiety. She is always compassionate, attentive, caring and objective. 5 Stars!
She is a excellent listener and will give you all her time and attention. She is compassionate and highly qualified. I feel that I can trust what I am telling her without feeling judgement,
